Bayou Classic 3016 30-Quart Outdoor Turkey Fryer with Basket and Fry Pot Review

I have long been skeptical of "deep frying" at home.The smell, the mess, the smell...Anyway, I recently decided to throw a fish fry and decided it was time to invest in a fryer.The biggest issue for me in purchasing a fryer was the sturdiness of the burner stand.Besides having the ability to heat 12 quarts of oil, I also wanted a burner stand that would hold the weight of 20 quarts of beer for my homebrewing.I decided on the Bayou Classic.

This Bayou Classic kit came with everything and setup was simple.The burner stand exceeded my expectations for sturdiness and the height was such that when using the 10 quart stock pot, you could place the burner stand on a safe sturdy work surface to elevate it off the ground.I plan on also using this burner with my wok.The burner was able to bring the oil to temperature in approximately 15 minutes.The Fish and Chips turned out great.

Of course when using 350 degree boiling oil, you do not want your weekend fry festival to end with either a trip to your local burn unit or a reason to see if Allstate really has you in good hands.Common sense must prevail and last time I checked, Amazon does not sell that yet.Set your fry area up away from kids, pets and anything that you want to see another day.If you follow that simple advice, all should turn out okay.

Clean up can be best described as "sticky", but in order to get the life out of your aluminum parts, don't skimp.Now that I have tackled fish and chips, I will have to move on to the other "must have" fried foods these days: turkeys, chickens, and Twinkies.I can't wait.

11'x17' Deluxe Steel Frame Gazebo with Sidewal Review

very happy with this canopy. the only drawback is it really takes 2 people to put it up. if your looking for something portable this is not it, but i use it to cover my hot tub in the summer and i am very happy with the quality. much better then what i saw at sams & lowes & home depot. i dont think it could hold up to a big snow storm, so i will take it down in the fall, but overall it is very sturdy.i would recommend it to others.

Crazy Creek B.A. Tarp (Forest Green) Review

This product is lighter than the cheap blue or silver tarps but way stronger. Great for the gusty trade winds here in the islands! Other tarps get the grommets pulling out but this baby is tough. This is not the ripstop lite model and its durability is more than worth the little extra weight (which is not much more). I used it for a canopy, lean-to and lowrise diagonal wing and its going strong after withstanding blasting wind and major tropical down pours while fishing and hunting. Everybody that saw and experienced its super multi-purpose functions were very impressed! Get a sharpie and have vistors sign it and log the days catch on it, it will be even more memorable as time goes on, as it should be around for years. I've had other "name-brand" tarps but this one beats 'em all!

I got the opportunity to borrow one of these for a Snow camping trip last winter. It was the greatest piece of equipment we brought. Not only is it safe, it kept the tent toasty on low, in the teen degree weather. It also kept the tent warm enough that the snow would sluff off the tent roof every 5 minutes all night, keeping my tent the only one still standing by morning. I would suggest hooking it up to a 5 gallon propane tank if snow camping. But in the early spring and fall the small tanks are fine to take the chill off before bed. I bought my own the moment we returned. I cant believe it took me this long to have one of these in the camp box.

I've used EZ Up tents for years at trade shows and other venues. Since I saw a review here that said it was used as a shelter for 8 months and then it failed, I thought I'd point out that these are not permanent shelters. I had one fail due to rain damage once. Left it outside after our wedding (it covered the caterer table) and we had a torrential downpour. The canopy filled with rain, the weight broke the support. It was a tremendous amount of water, the equivalent of a person sitting on a single crossbar.
The reason EZ Up likely told the person they don't cover wind and rain damage is because in eight months, the thing had to have been rained on, and blown at.
If you're looking for a fast to assemble cover for trade shows, street fairs, etc. EZ Up's great.

Eureka Square Floor Saver Review

Although not really expensive,this plastic ground cover is not worth the price. On it's first use, this relatively light weight plastic ground cover developed holes from the slightly uneven ground surface at the campsite (small rocks and roots, which are quite normal for most campsites). If I had it to do again, I would not purchase this product but would instead put the money to better use by buying either a 6-mil piece of heavy duty plastic or by purchasing a heavier duty tarp. Koala Climber Review

We bought this for our turning 2yr old, and he is a BIG kid. This is the perfect size climber for the toddler crowd, probably 1 1/2 to 4yrs if I gave my opinion.Its a fabulous size for indoor use (we put it in my son's room). The colors are great too! Not bright, so it will blend in a little with the home decorating maybe. The colors are a little darker than pictured (a richer red, darker tan/ brown arch, and the platform is darker green). My son loves this thing, and is all over it....quite acrobatic.Its great for motor development, and problem solving, and if you have a sensory seeking/ hyper child like mine..........this more than serves its purpose. We are very pleased with this simple climber.......we love it and would recommend it to anyone!

This crate was super easy to set up and has many practical features. It's light, easy to move from room to room and isn't as ugly as most plastic crates!

One suggestion if you buy this item: Make sure you zip up the flap so that both zippers meet at the top. I made the mistake of zipping at the bottom and Peter was able to work his way through the small gap and escape!

Step2 Naturally Playful Clubhouse Climber Review

I bought this for my son about two to three years ago, and while it is very durable, the problem is that when it rains the water gets stuck in the bottom tunnel and also in the only area to climb up where their hands and feet go. The only other way up is the slide. It felt like it was always getting wet and filthy and Ihad to manually remove the pooled up water. There really is not much to do with this fort but walk across it and go down the slide. There is a covered area to sit in with two durable stools that can be moved anywhere, and a phone , chalkboard , and a pretend clock. I think the telescope out side on the end you climb up is cute but overall I did not think this toy was so much fun as my son seldom liked to play in it. I am sorry I did not get the other type of fort which has a slide and swings. I think the overall design of this product for all the money could have been much better suited for the outdoors. To be fair though, this product is very durable and withstood all types of harsh weather, as well as older children and their weight from time to time. I would not reccomend keeping this in a grassy area or near trees.I ended up giving this away to a family member who runs a day care in the hope she will get better use out of it than my son did. I am glad the first reviewer had the room to keep this indoors where it seems to be much better suited for play. I Hope this information is helpful.

SportDOG Wetland Hunter 1825 Electronic Dog Collar Review

The first shock collar i bought was from PetSafe and let me tell you, that thing was a piece of junk. I upgraded to this collar because the petsafe collar did not hold up to it's end of the bargain( the petsafe collar is now a 130 dollar paper weight.) I recieved the Wetlandhunter collar in the mail a few days ago, and let me tell you, it is a great shock collar. The first thing that caught my eye was the 1 Mile coverage distance. I put the transmitter in the car and drove a mile down the road and called my wife on her cell phone. She confirmed that at a mile the collar was beeping and vibrating as i pressed the buttons. The overall build of the collar is great. This thing is literally bullet proof. The camoflage design makes by pitbull look like a hunting dog. lol. But overall, this collar is great. 300 dollars is a little steep, but you get a great quality product which in the long run is well worth it. whatever you do, dont go with petsafe!!!!

This was put together fairly easy with the aid of instructions. Had a wind storm and the unit stood up to it with no anchors. I was pleasently surprised. The only bad thing and a major problem is the canopy is not waterproofed and it leaks in rain. Very dissapointed for this is one of the reasons I purchased this for the weather conditions. Also found this on sale at another store for half the price I paid. I e-mailed the company aboout my displeasures of the leaking and the price and never got any response.
