my 15 month old son loves this tent! it is super-easy to set up, the colors are bright, the material feels light and natural. he loves to tumble around in it and doesn't get hurt because of the flexible construction. the little round windows are so much fun for him to peek through. he gets a real work out with this tent, as well as a place to put his toys. the top is open which gives it an airy and open feeling. we have put a carpet padding under the tent and some blankets and pillows inside. the tent can only be used inside. this is one of the best "toys" we have bought so far!

Garden Creations JB5442 Umbrella Table Screen, White, 9-Feet Review

I had high hopes for this product, and it seemed to meet my needs (fit over a large 9' umbrella; conform to an octagonal shaped rise in the deck where the furniture sits).However, as we were filling the base with water from the hose, water started leaking everywhere.The plastic tube that gets filled with water to add weight to the bottom of the net (to keep bugs out) was split in two.Returned this item as defective, and was hit with a restocking fee!To summarize, poor quality control and a poorly made product.Not recommended.

KidCo PeaPod Plus Portable Travel Bed - Camouflage Review

First let me say that I am not the type to buy lots of gear for kids. I have four kids, including one set of twins, and we try to keep all the stuff to a minimum.

In December we were travelling to a remote area of Chile with all four kids and needed a travel bed for our 1 year old twins that was easy to carry in our luggage. The Peapod beds were WITHOUT QUESTION a major lifesaver. Key advantages:
1) Very light, easy to pack, easy to set up and take down. I've seen complaints about not being able to fold it... it's really not that hard. Just think of having to create four rings that eventually slide one-on-top of the other. The online directions are helpful.
2) Kids were perfectly happy sleeping inside. I got them used to the idea by putting the tents in their cribs during naps for the week before our trip.
3) They could not get out and did not tip the tent over as other parents complained about. An older child with better dexterity could definitely open zipper from inside, but ours couldn't figure it out.
4) Self-inflating mattress plus pad was perfect. I would recommend a bassinet sheet to hold it all in place as the pad doesn't stay put very well.
5) We used the peapods to take the babies to dinner parties and put them to sleep at other people's houses. They were asleep in minutes and perfectly happy in their sleepaway pods.
6) We also used the Peapods as playpens in the airports. I didn't want the babies crawling around on the ground so we set up one tent and put lots of toys inside. They played for an hour in there, completely delighted. Other travelers thought we had a dog in there or something... but the babies loved it.

One downside:
I would not use the Peapod in a hot climate as the inside temperature is a few degrees hotter than outside due to body heat. We were in a cool climate so that didn't matter... but it would be very stuffy in there if the ambient temp were above the 70s. The mesh that is used on the product is meant to keep out bugs... but because the mesh weave is so tight, it does not let in air. This is a big bummer because when we used it in warmer weather, I did worry alot about how stuffy it was getting in there. I ended up pointing a fan right at the tents to make sure they were getting good air flow.

My 4 year old just loved it!It is her own special place.I love it because it doesn't slide off the bed.The poles are made just like tent poles.They are very durable.They are not hollow like the others that use pvc.They wanted me to rate the educational value, I put 5 stars since imagination is important too.I would recommend this for any little girl.

E-Z Up Sierra II 10x10 Canopy Review

I'm a long-time camper, I've camped in everything from snow to 115F deserts with no plant life at all, in sun, wind, rain, etc.

The smaller E-Z Ups can be handled fairly well by one person, but even they go much faster with 2.The bigger ones really do need two people to handle.

The big question is: will it actually provide you with shelter?Yes, it will.E-Z Ups actually work a fair bit better than many other brands I've seen.In moderate to high wind you will need to tie them down to something substantial - trees, rocks, etc.Unlike other brands, these seem robust enough - I've seen several other brands collapse, and their metal poles and plastic parts bend and brake.E-Z Ups seem to hold up much better.I would suggest replacing the "tent stakes" supplied with the product with something much more robust.

If you're off camping or outdoors, and there's a chance of rain, you'll probably want one of these over your picnic table, they work great.

20'x20 Octagonal Wedding Gazebo Party Tent Canopy Shade Review

Having rented a tent for the past several years, we decided to buy our own.Most tents this size are thousands of dollars.We found this one for $400.It arrived in 3 boxes.The directions say 6 people one hour to put it up.We had 6 people and it took 20 minutes to put up the main part.We didn't use the sides, as it was July.We were able to put 4 8-person tables under it.Everyone said it was so fancy and made the party look professional. We all stayed dry during the surprise Long Island thunderstorm that dropped in uninvited to our party.Wind gusts were no problem.It was one of the best investments we ever made.Family members are hinting to borrow it.
