We got this for our 2 year old who adores Lightning McQueen.We have to travel quite far to visit his grandparents and wanted him to have something to make sleeping away from home easier.I wouldn't trust it for cold weather camping or any real heavy duty use, but it's perfect for what most people will probably do with it (i.e. kids sleeping over at friends and family).My son loves it and I feel like the price was reasonable.

Coleman Compact Table (Black or Silver Top) Review

I bought 2 of these tables because they were marked down to $32 at a local store.Both of them came out of the box damaged.They have plastic knobs that are designed to fit into holes on the bottom of the table top.That is how the table top is secured to the bottom legs. On one table, one was broken and on the other, 2 were broken.Also, on one table the metal cross support bars were damaged.The bars are made of aluminum but they are connected to the leg by a cheap piece of plastic.The plastic was broken.If the plastic on these table can't even survive shipping imagine how easily they would break just under normal use.Also, I want to note that the boxes these tables came in had no damage to them.

10 x 10 EZ POP UP GREEN Canopy New Gazebo NO Sidewalls Review

I had this on my wish list and received it as a Christmas gift.We put it up on Memorial Day weekend; it looked really good.It wasn't staked in, but it wasn't windy.We pulled it over to another location and one metal arm broke.It was put away immediately, my husband wanted to throw it away, but I thought we could fix it.

Fast forward to camping two weeks later. We opened the bag and now there were four arms broken, one on each side.It was dangerous to leave it up, someone could walk into the sharp metal once it got dark.We threw it away at the campsite. Someone else brought an EZ-up (the real thing).The poles were much thicker and it went in the bag nice and easy.

I wanted it because it was a good price, cheap.Not worth it. Don't waste your money, invest in the EZ-up.

La Crosse Technology WS-1510U-IT Professional Weather Station Review

Bought item in November, but gave it for a Christmas Present in December.Started Unit up per instructions, but the unit could not lock in the signal from the Thermal unit to record temperature or wind speed. The Rainfall gauge worked fine. All this was setup on a table just as instructions recommended.I tried to restart several times but did same thing.Sent three emails to customer support at Lacrosse and called twice and left message since December 28. Never recieved a response or a call since then.Since the product was over the 30 day return policy of amazon I could not return it.I would not recommend this product or any other from Lacrosse just because of the poor customer service.

Black & Decker LMT100 CAT TENT (HOOD) Review

This product is poorly constructed.The zippers broke as I was trying to put it together.The plastic supports are bigger than they should be (or the vinyl part of this products is too small for the plastic supports).To make the long story short, they just don't fit.I bought 2 of them and both have the same problem, so I don't think I had an isolated incident.I honestly do not and will not recommend this product.

Coolaroo Classic Series All Purpose Bottom Roll Up Window Shade Review

The fabric is quite acceptable.It does exactly as is represented.However, the design needs much improvement. With the least amount of wind, i.e., breeze, the shade will not properly roll up.Also, the straps holding the pole in place (at the bottom of the shade) easily slip off.The shade and the pole are then free to do as they please; in my case, the pole fell to the ground, and the shade flapped in the breeeze. The pole however, is quite capable of smashing into anything within reach.A fine product for a zero wind area.

10 x 10 Pop-up GREEN Canopy w/4 Side Walls EZ to set up Review

We've had this canopy for a while now and finally got to put it up yesterday. The ease of setting it up was way more than we had expected. It was very, very easy to set up. It was also stronger than we had expected.We were very pleased until we got to the side panels.

It became clear to us why the cost was so cheap. These things are obviously factory seconds. The vecro on the side panels were not placed in the corners like they should have been. Some are almost 5-7 inches lower than the corners, making it very hard toplace the corners where they should be. The side panels had to be put on crooked. Some of the velcro tabs were also way shorter than the others making it impossible to hook the sides to the poles. There were also some small holes in one of the panels.

Being a seamstress, I removed the wrongly placed tabs and sewed them up in the corners where they should have been. We also purchased a roll of velcro and added it to the short pieces.

Even with the little factory "mess ups" we are very pleased with this canopy. You couldn't ask for a better product for the price.

We had severe storms with winds and heavy downpours last night and it withstood the storms with no problems. It did leak a little bit during the downpour. Basically just drips here and there. But nothing major. We actually stayed under it during the worst of the storms.

For the cheap price, I would recommend it. Just be prepared to fix some minor flaws!!

Ariel LE Hideaway Review

My children had an IKEA tent for 3.5 years. After the success of that, I was really disappointed with this one. It has no base and no side-to-side support. So as soon as the children climb in, the tent tips over and collapses. My daughter (5) loves the picture on the side, but that's the only good thing about it.

HDC PARTY TENT WITH WINDOWS Review

I would not advise anyone to buy this tent. The overall quality is very low.
There were no instructions and even the pole identifiers were only pieces of paper glued to each pole section and several had fallen off ,leaving me to figure out where they went. My overall feeling was that this product was made

Bx/1 x 1: Logo Chair Custom Ace Tent Canopy (806293) Review

On march 18 , 2010 I ordered a6 pole heavy duty enclosed canopy from Ace canopy, AKA Tarpsplus , and Abadak. On June 18 we decided to set it up to make sure we knew how to prepare for the summer craft show season. When I opened up the pipes they had not been de burred when they were cut. The insides of every pipe had a razor sharp burr on it. I thought it shouldn't have been overlooked before shipping but I went ahead and filed them all smooth. Then we started to set up the canopy. I had to file the inside and outside of every pipe and connector to even get it to go together. Anotherlittleaggravation. Then when we got the frame together and started to attach the canopy we found out that all the bungee cords were 12 in long instead of 6 in like the packages said. We had to wrap the cords twice to get them to work and then things really went wrong. The top tarp was not wide enough. The gable end tarps were not wide enough.After failing to get any of the tarps to fit I did a little measuring. THEY sent me a 11' x 9'2" frame, and tarps for a 10 x 10.
That's when I e mailed them, repeatedly. Took them 3 days to respond and then only after calling. They needed my order # which I sent them. In a weeks time, countless e mails and several phone calls the only response I can get is " sorry for your inconvenience but its not under warranty". I asked them to explain to me what the warranty has to do with anything. I ordered a 10 x 10 , paid for a 10 x 10 , and my receipt is for a 10 x 10. I got a 11 x 9'2" frame .I have repeatedly asked for a supervisor but can'tget one to respond. To date Ace canopy has refused toaddress this problem .
As of July 9 2010 Ihave corrected the problem myself. Ipurchased exhaust pipe to replace the pipes that were too short , recut the ones that were too long , purchased new bungee ballstraps for a total of $124.00 . With the initial cost of $389.94, and $124.00 for replacement parts my new canopy is a whopping $513.94 This doesn't include the 2 days labor I lost working on this problem

Medium Teal Pet Tent Exercise Pen Review

I purchased this product from another site and just got it today, I have a 3 pound puppy that I wanted to contain and keep safe from my other dog thats 25lbs and my two year old. It is extremely easy to set up, just take it out of the box and pop open the sides. My puppy loves having the space, she has finally stoped crying for attention all the time and I don't have to watch her like a hawk to make sure she isn't soiling my floor. So, here are the cons. It doesn't hold up well at all, my bigger dog leans against it and it caves in on that side, my toddler has fallen into it and it almost completely caved in, trapping the puppy. I have gotten the dog to leave it alone (for the most part) but the toddler is a different story. As soon as I can get him to leave it alone then it will be perfect; so if you have hyper dogs or kids invest in something stronger, If you only need something to contain pets and have a realtively calm house then this would be a good buy. I will add onto this review in a few weeks to say how well it is holding up.

Medium Blue Plaid Pet Tent Exercise Pen Review

Folds out unbelievably easily, larger than expected, overall best one I could find for camping and general use. Both me and my dog (all 65 pounds of her) can fit in there comfortably, yet it is lightweight and seems durable. The floor of the "tent" is attached unlike some others I viewed that hooked together using velcro. Cheapest, most practical one I found. Your search stops now! :) Both food and water bowls and her bed fits in there. Water spills are easily taken care of. The roof provides shade, or can be unzipped (doesn't come totally off) so your dog can be pet and visible while she's hanging out instead of being tied up to a tree at the campground! There are stakes to secure the "tent" to the ground. And pockets and things for storage of toys, water, food, stakes, anything really. And it all folds easily into a carrying bag. I chose this color because I love blue and I love plaid. It looks a lot better than the picture does. Anyway, here is a picture of my dog in the tent!

The sail shade looks very durable and well made. The problem is I purchased the "Ocean blue", which close up looks great, but from 20 feet away it looks like those swap meet tarps you purchase at home depot. I put it up in my porch and it looked like I was having a garage sale or camping. It also takes a very strong metal pole on each corner to keep it tight. It looks terrible when it sags even a little.

This tent is terrible.It is not sturdy metal.One of the arms came in bent (unbeknownst to us) so when my husband and I pulled to open the tent, it bent more so the tent wouldn't set properly.We were able to get it up for our party but in the middle of the day the bent side collapsed (the plastic oonnector broke).Since Golf outlet has a no return policy on this item, it is now on the way to the dump as well as the $176 ($126 + shipping) we spent on it.I would suggest investing your money in a different product if you are looking to have it around for awhile.

Foam Town USA - Foam Sweet Home Review

I purchased this for my three kids: a girl (6), a boy (3) and a baby girl (9 months).We received it over a week ago, and it's still the number one toy in our house.It took around 20 minutes to set up the first time with two adults and two wee "helpers."I'm sure it will take even less time next time we set it up, now that we're familiar with all the parts and where they go.

I love this product because it provides a medium for creative, interactive play, especially between my older kids.They play in it for hours on end, constantly imagining different scenarios.

The little peripherals (flowers, chimney, awnings, etc.) get thrown around a lot, but it's not hard to gather them in when it's cleanup time.

The baby loves this house, too, and loves to practice her standing and chewing on the walls.The circle punch-outs in the centers of the flowers are a bit of a choking hazard, so I clear those out when she's around.I also try to keep her from chewing on one place for too long, as she could potentially chew a piece off (although she hasn't yet because it's very sturdy foam).

The house is quite durable for a foam product.Both my kids have tried to climb on top of it, and although it buckled a bit and the pieces popped out of place, it's still standing and none the worse for the wear.

Once we've had our fill, I'll collapse it back down (it came with a nifty storage case), and plan to store it under the baby's crib until it's been away long enough to be fun again.

One last note- it does NOT stink.I was so worried it would have a horrible plastic smell that you sometimes get with foam products, but definitely no observable odor!

Kittywalk Pet Gazebo Review

I have had this Kittywalk gazebo and the Kittywalk lawn enclosure for several years. Today I went to work and when I came home, one of my outdoor cats had gotten into the Kittywalk and somehow got her claws stuck in the netting. She was hanging there, dead, when I came home. I don't know what happened, but I do know that it was my fault for leaving the zip enclosure open so she could get in. Why she did, I do not know. She apparently got her claws wrapped in the netting and I don't know if she had a heart attack or what, but she was gone by the time I go home. I only used it for my declawed indoor-only kitty, and he was fine with it. Now I would never use it for *any* cat again, unless you are sitting and monitoring them. I should have closed the opening, but I never dreamed she would jump in and get stuck like that. Just too many ways a cat can get tangled in the webbing, and this time not even the cat that we confined to it. Maybe something chased her in there....I don't know, but it isn't safe enough unless you are standing right there, and even then, her toes were so wrapped in the netting, I would think that it would not be long before you might find your cat in serious distress if this happened to you. Not worth it.

I decided to update this after speaking with my vet. Apparently she has seen another case where a cat became entangled in the netting by getting its head wedged in the opening, and this poor cat strangled to death in a few short minutes, in front of the horrified owner who could not rescue the cat in time. She feels that it is not a reasonable assumption (as the manufacturer recommends) that users will clip their cats' claws prior to placing them in a Kittywalk enclosure, and doubts that even clipping the claws could prevent the kind of entanglement I witnessed and certainly could not prevent strangulation. I don't think any cat should be placed in one of these enclosures even if you are sitting there and watching them....and I would wager most people are not monitoring their cats that closely.

Gigatent Knights Tower Tent Review

We received this tent as a Christmas gift for our 20 month old.He has had an absolute blast playing in it.We recently placed his twin mattress inside the tent (fits in the width but sticks out about a foot and a half on the end) to use as a bed topper.I wouldn't use this tent outside if it was raining, but probably would in nice weather.The mesh windows aren't the highest grade material, but it's a toy, so I don't really care.Very easy to set up, and really is lots of fun for both kids and adults.

2x4basics Easy-Up Enclosure Kit, Black Review

I recently built an EASY UP to store my lawn tractor behind my garage.The directions were simple to follow and I liked not having to cut any angles.Project was completed in less than two hours. Used treated lumber and coated wood screws. Covered the entire structure with a used billboard cover made of poly coated canvas - plain white side out - purchased for $20.00 I think this thing will last for years.

I rated it four stars because I think they could have made the hardware a little stronger.

Coleman Mountaineer Dog Tent, Large Review

Our dogs and cats have enjoyed this tent (one at a time), as it gave them their own little private shaded space.However, we found it a bit difficult to assemble (even with two people), and after it was toppled over by the wind, one of the supports broke when we were trying to reassemble it.

We have found a way to prop it up and keep it in shape (by inserting one of our Coleman Pet Bone Loungers), but we won't be purchasing another one unless the company fortifies and/or redesigns the support system.

Sun Mart Deluxe Screen House 12'x20' - Green Review

EASY SET UP. NO WAY. ALL THE POLES ARE SUPPOSE TO BE CORDED BUT SOME OF THEM THE CORDS WERE PULLED OUT. SO WE TRIED TO SET UP ON MY DECK AND THE NONE CORDED POLES KEPT ON FALLING AND DOING A LOT OF DAMAGE. AFTER A HOUR OF THE POLES FALLING I CALLED THE COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE RIGHT AWAY SAID I MUST OF USED THE CANOPY AND JUST TRYING TO RETURN IT NOW. I TOLD THEM TO SEND A CALL TAG TO RETURN AND THEY JUST HUNG UP ON ME. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. BEWARE.

I use this pop-up tent for agility trials.It is easy, roomy, and the quality is great. No wasted space on the sides, as it has plenty of height.Folding is not problem!Just like a folding umbrella.And the bag is so spacious, there is no worry that the tent will fit after you have folded it. Every time I take this to a trial, other handlers approach me for info about this tent. I am sure that I will see more very soon....I love it!..Oh, and my dog does too.

10' x 10' Commercial E-Z UP Instant shelter with 4 zippered sides Review

This tent was used at a festival last summer for the first time.It was a good size and fit 2 tables with plenty of room left in the center for chairs and walking.It also held up through a rain and wind storm.

It is a good quality tent and I would recommend it for this price level.

Hydrofarm 2 Millimeter Mylar Review

The mylar came quickly and that was really great! The description said that it was 54" wide (in fact it specifically pointed out that it was 54 rather than 48 inches) but it was just 48". Besides that, this is great stuff. So shiny. Perfect for making an astronaut suit! Or for your grown room. Whatever!
